Mystical Egypt - part 2

NILE RIVER CRUISE
 ABU SIMBEL
visit the Temple of Abu Simbel
The journey overland to the Temple of Abu Simbel from the cruise ship took about 3hours through the desert. There were about 20 over coaches in a convoy and we were escorted by heavily armed guard. We were told that the road across the desert was not safe due to arm robbers. We started off at about 4am. It was uneventful and quite boring as there was nothing but desert. However upon arriving it was all worth it.
